A wonderful example of the business use of video.
It meets many of the components I believe essential when considering video as a business communication tool:
is amusing/witty
is different
doesn’t smell of B.S.
has some references back into the target market’s culture (in this case other youtube videos, which would quite possibly be recognised by [...]

The important point for us is that we use the tool that most suits us and our style. Just as there’s no point trying to get a non-communicative CEO to start blogging, there’s no point trying to use a tool and channel that uses skills not ordinarily part of your personal repertoire.

Proving that your humble correspondent is ‘hip’, ‘with it’ and able to get ‘jiggy with da people’ (as long as there’s an oxygen tent nearby), here’s a video recently shown on MySpace that highlights the latest dance craze.

I agree that the word ‘expert’ can be bandied about with complete abandon and recklessness of ethic. If someone comes to you proclaiming ‘expertise’ in anything, please please please do your homework. Read their blog (assuming they have one), listen to their podcasts, google them, find out who links to them and who they link to (who you keep company with says much about you).
