Those who have been reading this blog for more than a few months know that I am passionate about good PowerPoint.

Like everyone else, I have suffered from ‘Death by PowerPoint’ waaaay too many times to want to inflict on others, so I take great pains to ensure that my own slides are at least half-interesting.

My favourite presentation guru, Garr Reynolds, has a fabulous blog — PresentationZen — which I strongly suggest you wander through and inhale deeply of.

When SlideShare was launched Garr wrote some helpful tips on the use of white space and full-bleed imagery to add impact to presentations. Luckily for us the Master Jedi also gifted us with some example slides — see below.

The astute long-term follower of this blog will notice, towards the last few slides in Garr’s deck, a reference to my favourite pdf file on presentation — Seth Godin’s “Really Bad PowerPoint” which you, dear reader, can download for free [opens in new browser window] from my articles-‘n’-stuff BetterCommunicationResults.com.au website.
