Steve Rubel points to a great article on Twitter and how they need 30 servers to keep up with the demand. How long before an IPO, eh?
-
And a podcast too. “Welcome to Kinsey Confidential, a project of The Kinsey Institute with information on sexual topics for a college-aged audience.” Worthy goals, tell your teens. Hat tip Matt Searles

Good design versus poor design: why good design counts! Very powerful cartoon. Hat tip to Steven Noble (and glad to see him blogging again at H&K blog!!!)

Radiohead busted out of the record company straitjacket, NIN follow. According to @marshallk they reaped in $750k in something like 48 hours
-
Proving his point that social media can spread good stuff quickly and efficiently, Jenko on twitter url tracking. Brilliant ‘how to’ link across to Mike Sansome and others

Our ABC shows again how Australians are very often early adopters of new technology; but the ABC (and perhaps Telstra) are alone as early corporate adopters. On ya, Auntie!! Akubra tip to Master Cook
-
Again, Akubra tip to Trevor Cook. Damn fine post that supports our panel discussion at ad:tech about Digital PR (and Trevor’s concern about journalism’s slip into seo metrics)
-
The ‘Bobble Hat Brigade’ will love these - real videos of the dynamics of breast movement and what sports bra works best. There’s a podcast as well (p.s. ‘podcast’ means audio, ‘vidcast’ means video)
-

-
But the sample size is so small that I and the author worry about the generalisability of these findings. But it WAS published in an academic journal, so had peer review. Again, Akubra tipping to Cook

The Rudd 2020 farcical continues to generate bloglebrity comment (not a lot of which is positive). Ace Aussie thinker Sthilgherrian (nice bloke, met him once) continues the meme that the whole thing is a waste of our oxygen
Stumble it!

1. If this is your first time commenting using the email address you have given, your comment will be held in 'moderation' and won't appear until one of us here at BetterComms Towers approves it. This stops spammers from flooding our posts with garbage. It may take up to 48 hours for your comment to appear -- sorry!
2. This blog runs the WP-Cache plugin, which reduces the amount of processing our host's server has to perform on this blog. The result for you is that our site crashes less. The downside is that sometimes it might take a minute or two for your comment to appear. Please don't resubmit your comment if it doesn't appear straight away. Please be patient and try refreshing your browser after a minute or two... Thanks, Lee

Thanks for the link-love, Lee. I actually think the Australia 20202 Summit could be a fine thing, though my recent piece Australia 2020: The Disillusionment expresses my more current fears in its title. I daresay I’ll have more to say when the line-up is announced some time early in ohe coming week.
