There’s an update on the Twitter stats; it turns out that Australia is 6th in the world for SMS usage.

Considering that most of the big news stories get broken on Twitter first (e.g. the UK earthquake was broken on Twitter by a good half hour before the BBC got anything out), and considering that txting to your twitter account from Australia is prohibitively expensive still (it’s an overseas txt), then its amazing we are sixth!

A recent chat I had with Joe Jaffe focused on Social Media strategy and it is turning out that an underpinning technology behind the strategy is Twitter.

Perhaps it’s time you think about how you might use it, if you don’t already tweet…

or call me to discuss its implications for your business.

Stumble it!
