I’m running some professional development courses in Sydney just before the ad:tech conference.

On Monday March 10th I’m running an all day workshop on Social Media, ‘Social Media 101‘. Then on Tuesday 11th I’m running a full-day workshop on Social Media Strategy.

Social Media 101 - A Practical ‘How to’ with Lee Hopkins
Do you know at what bitrate a podcast needs to be?  How RSS can broadcast your message? How to put together a blog?  

This hands-on course for communication professionals will provide practical nuts and bolts insights into how you can make social media work as one of the tactics in your professional palette with a minimum of time and fuss.

You will learn:

  • What IS Social Media?
  • Why is it so important?
  • Demographics, statistics and evaluation
  • The tools of social media
  • How to construct a social media release
  • The future: coming soon to a browser near you

Learn how to put social media to work in your communication strategies.

Who should attend:

  • This course is aimed at frontline level staff

Social Media Strategy with Lee Hopkins
