Asus Eee PC 4G — I so WANT one!

I walked into my local Officeworks today to pick up some archive boxes.

As is my want, I wandered over to the hi-tech area to peruse the goodies, and THIS little beauty caught my eye.

The ASUS Eee PC 4G is solid state, small and light as a paperback, runs for about 3.5 hours on its battery, saves to usb drive, runs on Linux so instant start, comes complete with a swag of software including all the business essentials.

You mean this is the first you’ve heard of it? It’s been on my ‘covet’ list for months. They’re not terribly expensive, but it’s low on the priority scale at the moment.

Duncan, did you get a white or black one? The white looks nice, but I wonder how dirty it would get after a while… I haven’t seen a black one yet to see how it looks.
