My images get used by others - and I’m flattered

I put a lot of effort into the black’n'white retro images I sometimes adorn my posts with.

The idea for them came from the very much missed Kathy Sierra, and represent both a pinching of her idea and a homage.

So it is with some quiet pride (although obviously not *that* quiet otherwise I wouldn’t have told you, would I?) that I saw an image of mine used on another site.

Obviously they google ‘image search’ed and came up with a winner for their topic, but it’s still flattering to think that something I laboured over has been thought good enough by someone else to use.

Hmmm. Just a bit of irony going on here. Just a bit.

Waaay behind on my reading, but you do realise that image is hotlinked (ie you are footing the bandwidth bill)? When that happened to me I simply changed the original image with a different one, and updated the image in my post. Voila! An entirely different image displaying a message to the thief was displayed ;) Still using my bandwidth - but I felt better about it.

HI! Oh Yes I used it! It suitet well, and I can see the irony going on Max Christian thank you. Sometimes when you find a pic on the internet you don´t even bother to vonsider that it is an actual person who made it. You should flatter yourself its great. I hope I can keep it!?!?!
