Google to bring cheaper broadband to Australia?
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. You can even subscribe by email! Thanks for visiting!
Courtesy of the eagle-eyed David “he’s a fine” Boloker comes some TechCrunch news from a couple of days ago that I’d missed, silly me.
Says TechCrunch:
“In Australia at least, the cost of internet access is significantly higher that in the United States. Google?s move to provide a competitive Pacific Cable service could slash data costs for countries including Australia, Indonesia and even Singapore and Malaysia.”
TechCrunch’s info comes from a Commsday report…
We can only hope it arrives soon!

The downside is that sometimes it might take a minute or two for your comment to appear. Please don't resubmit your comment if it doesn't appear straight away. Please be patient and try refreshing your browser after a minute or two... Thanks, Lee
