Those of us who have been around the blogosphere for a little while will remember Kryptonite’s (in)famous entry into the blogosphere.
I won’t rehash the details here, except to say that the world was dealt a powerful lesson in the power of the blogosphere to make a mountain of an ordinary issue in an extraordinarily tiny amount of time.
The PR/Marketing Manager for Kryptonite, Donna Tocci, came under a lot of fire for not meeting the demands of the more vociferous, meretricious and down-right rude members of the emerging media empire that now lies in the hands of the many (aka the ‘blogo/podosphere’).
Interviewed by many, including your humble correspondent, Donna proved herself a capable, engaging and honest communicator who had been unfairly broad-sided by some loud-mouthed elements of the aforementioned media empire.
About a year or so ago Donna launched her own blog — tidbits and more — to great effect (the fact that she, too, is a ‘House’ devotee has nothing whatsoever to do with my adoration of her 
).
Now she’s launched a company blog for Kryptonite — unbreakable bonds — and a great blog it looks, too!
I for one wish Donna and the team (including Dwight the GM) every success with their blog.

Being new to the world of blogging, Kryptonite’s blog entry is not a part of history that I am familiar with. However, it was very interesting to read about. Only being involved with the blogoshpere for not even a year, I love reading about new entries that have strengthened their companies through the use of blogs First, I was very shocked when I realized that Kryptonite was a company that produced bicycle locks. I have never heard of this company. Thanks to you Lee, I now have learned significant knowledge.
Their blog site, Unbreakable Bonds, is not only eye appealing, but appears to “fit” their company perfectly and serves its purpose for Kryptonite’s audience. I praise Donna for her honest communication tactics and relentless drive. Her blog and the company blog are outstanding blogs that are clearly seen as successful means of communication. After forming my own blog this semester (with all my thanks to Robert 
) I have clearly seen the power that these forms of social media have on our world today. I feel that putting your time, work and more time into a blog, will produce positive results for your company and form you into a better writer. Blogs are multi-purposeful and growing more each day. Last week all of the senior pr students created a blog together for us to keep in touch after we graduate. If you had asked me 3 months to do this, I would not have wanted to whatsoever. However, after experimenting with blogs and witnessing their power and many purposes, I am excited about our Senior Pr blog and wouldn’t want any other way to keep in touch with everyone. Thanks for sharing this information Lee - You’re an amazing writer. I truly hope to be as successful as you in the blogoshpere one day.
