The Hoff is big news down here in Adelaide — for some reason he’s become a cult star (again).

Older Australian readers of this blog will recognise the tune as one written by Ted Mulry and performed by the Ted Mulry Gang back in the 70s. At least, I think it was written by Ted — now that the Hoff has recorded it (and you’ve got to admire the man’s persistence, if not his air guitar and dancing skills) I am starting to wonder if TMG covered it.
