Chicken Soup for your very own soul, coming soon to a bookshop near you

The rather clever and very wonderful read Andrea Weckerle obliquely raises an interesting point — when is enough enough?

She highlights that there are probably more ‘Chicken Soup for the …’ books than we are ever likely to read in a lifetime, raising the somewhat scary prospect that there may be, in the not too distant future, a ‘Chicken Soup’ book for each of us.

One of my clients is currently engaged in a just-in-time customised brochure campaign, so that each person who rings into the call centre and requests further information gets a personalised brochure back, with their name on the cover, their details pre-filled into the application form, the different services they and the call centre consultant talked about highlighted in yellow. Make a call today, get a completely personalised brochure in two day’s time…

So the idea that we could all have enjoy our own ‘Chicken Soup’ book, geared specifically to us and our needs, is not too far fetched. And the royalties would just roll in

Thanks for the link in your ‘humor’ column the other day, too! Much appreciated. But what I can’t figure out is who’s the babe in the top right corner of the book? {grin}
