My fellow co-founder of the now world (in)famous Podcast Institute, Professor Sallie Goetsch, recently spoke to the Bay Area Consultants Network on ‘Virtual Marketing Magnets’ (something that sticks on your fridge, no doubt).
Being the tech-wizz that she is, she created a brilliant web-based slide show that she then posted up on her blog (there’s also a pdf version of her PowerPoint show if you want something you can download).
There is also a phenomenally stunning (and I use such an explosive phrase deliberately) clickable image-map of a handout she, well, handed out. Sallie assures me that as she collects more resources she will be adding to the map. But already the map is an amazing resource, full of links off to a veritable ‘whos who and what’ of podcasting. You owe it to yourself to check it out.
Yes, it is the same resource I raved about in the latest issue of For Immediate Release (FIR #111, in which both Neville and I independently plug Sallie’s 14th Feb teleseminar on podcasting).
Incidentally, the software Sallie used to create the map was MindManager Pro6 by MindJet, a tool I’ve been using lately with increasing joy. Sallie wrote a review for it on Kickstartnews.com, if you are interested.
