Ahhh… the long-awaited release of D*I*Y Planner 3.0 is now with us.
Douglas Fortesque Arbuthnot Johnston has laboured long and hard into the night, slaving over hot keyboards and (perhaps) graphic tablets to bring us the new and improved Version 3 of his much-loved planner.
Nearly everyone who has come into contact with my comb-bound project folders has asked me where I got the planner sheets from. I use the A5 version of D*I*Y Planner 2.0, printed enlarged to fit A4, as the basis for my notekeeping on the various projects I find myself involved with.
Of course, there is my beloved OneNote, and I am rapidly becoming enamoured with MindManager Pro (and thanks to a fellow IABC member, Catriona Byrne, for recommending it so passionately to me; I see that fellow Podcast Institute co-founder Sallie Goetsch is a skilled user), but nothing beats the feel of a Waterman against a nice bit of quality paper.
Now that young Douglas has released Version 3.0 I can’t wait to let my friends know — and if paper-based planning features in any way in your life, may I recommend you download it too?
