Ron Shewchuk, a long-time friend of the ever-splended Shel Holtz, has joined in the fun of the blogosphere.

Ron will be focussing on ‘internal communications’ and I for one am very pleased to welcome him into our world (”any friend of Shel’s…”).

And I see that another internal comms blog, Brad Bellaver’s ‘The Memo‘, adds to the list of… well, an all-too-small list of those of us interested in the giddy and sometimes frustrating world of employee communications (”Lee, tell them they’re fired. But do it nicely and make them look forward to it”).

Welcome, Ron — we all look forward to your contributions to the discussion.

And for my fellow communicators who have yet to take the plunge and dive into the beautiful blue pool of sparkling conversation (am I overdoing it a bit?), might I suggest that you just jump in anyway? You have nothing to lose but your virgin status — even I was a virgin once (ahem) and now look at me!

“Lee, tell them they’re fired. But do it nicely and make them look forward to it”If you are lurking, unsure of what to say or how to say it, can I suggest you have a read of my ‘how to blog’ post? It will help you overcome your fears.
