So here I am at 22,000 feet in First Class on the way to Dubai, feeling refreshed after a relaxing 16 hour sleep in the hotel!

The flight down from Dubai to Doha, Qatar was on some lovely, shiny new plane where each First Class seat was its own little cabin. The flight back, however, is on an old A320 — the seats are cramped, the noise levels high, the decor shabby.

Oh well, such is life… I had a glass or two of Moet to soothe my furrowed brow, and consoled myself that it was my client who paid for the flight, not me, for which I am extremely grateful.
