Dr Peter Chen at Melbourne’s Monash University is conducting research into podcasting and vblogging.
His objectives are to:
• Examine the range of podcasts and videobloggs currently being produced
• Identify the types of people involved in the productions
• Examine the effort and work put into developing this content
• Look at how the shows are promoted and developed
• Explore interactivity issues
• Look at medium to long-term business models and cost-recovery issues
