Donna Papacosta has joined the ranks of the digital audiorati (hmmm… nice syllogism!) and commenced her own podcast.
Firmly positioned to enlighten those business managers currently unsure about podcasting, her first podcast is excellent.
Her voice is gorgeous to listen to - clear, clean, perfect enunciation; I wonder if she had a career in radio before?
I would also hazard a guess and say she’s not using a $10 microphone, either. Incredibly polished and professional, as one would expect from a communicator who has been helping her clients with audio delivery of their message.
There’s no separate feed for her podcast as she hosts it on her own server, so to subscribe just drop her blog xml link into your podcatcher of choice.
Good on you, Donna - and welcome to the podcasting world!
Oh, and if you wonder why I keep using the phrase ’smoking the podcasting dope’, it’s a reference to a very early show of For Immediate Release back in April this year and a discussion over whether podcasting had a future or not.

Lee, you are too kind. Thanks for the generous comments about my first podcast. As for my rig, I had bought my mic in the prehistoric age — about 2.5 year ago — for voiceover work. Yes, I took some voice training at that time, and also recorded some voiceovers for corporate videos. So I have an Apex diaphragm condenser mic that goes through an Art tube pre-amp (yes, it really has a tube). That plugs into my Mac G4.
